It's the Most Wonderful Time....

It's the most wonderful time of the year, y'all...IT'S COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!

I feel like in the south and probably Texas that,  it's bigger than Christmas. I mean we just smoked a pulled pork all night to eat while we watch the game tonight and when Charlie got in the car he called me, and for some crazy reason, Sandstorm was playing on the radio. We took that as a sign for a good day of Gamecock football.

Even the kids this morning knew what day it was. Mary was yelling Gamecocks and Henry would follow her with an "er, er er, errrrrrrrrrrrrr". You'd understand if you went to school with us. Then after we did our cheers, we took pictures like it was the first day of school. Doesn't everyone do this?

So, my friends, cheer on your team and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year, because before you know it, it will be February and we will only be talking about football.

GO GAMECOCKS!

Dolphins!

Last week swimming with dolphins, this week running around like a chicken with her head cut off.

The kids had a blast on this excursion and I have to say it was a pretty crazy experience for everyone. It was just too cool to be able to swim and pet them. Pretty sure the kids wanted to take them home as a pet.

Mudroom

It's the room I always wanted, the command center for any family, the place where shoes go (so tired of tripping over them) and the place where all that mail clutter can live.

While there is no paint on the wall, and we aren't planning on any for a little bit, it quite possibly may be my favorite room. Yes, it's the only room that looks like a room, but I think we have achieved exactly what I wanted.

Now to tackle another room.
