Where has July gone???

I cannot believe that July is almost over, which means I will now be the mother of a 7 month old! Where is the time going? Henry is becoming more interactive everyday. He is sitting up a lot more and enjoying his big boy toys. He just loves to roll on the floor - he can go from one end of the room to the other.

This past weekend he was very lucky, becuase his Nana came from SC to watch him. Charlie and I headed out to Chicago for a wedding. We had a great time, but I am thinking that Henry had a lot more fun with his Nana.
By the time we got back, he had another tooth! We now have two on the bottom and I think I can see a top one coming in. His little chompers are getting there!

First Tooth, Six Month Update, and some Swimming

First things first, on Tuesday, I noticed a little white speck in the front of Henry's mouth. After feeding him I could see that he was chomping on the spoon so I tried to get a closer look. I was finally able to get in there and we have our first tooth! It has already popped through on the bottom. We think that maybe his 2nd one is on it's way.

On Friday we went to see Dr. Bill for Henry's Six month check up. He weighed in a little over 15 lbs, we finally made the 20% for weight! Usually he is only in the 10% - 15% range. He is 26 1/4 inches long and his head measured about 17 1/4, both of those stats are in the 50%. Dr. Bill said Henry looked great and that he would see us in the Fall.

Finally for some fun. This afternoon we went to the pool by our house. I think we were there a total of 20 minutes. Probably the fastest trip I have ever made to the pool. We put Henry in the big pool with Charlie and he was not a fan. So, we headed over to the baby pool. He was still a little hesitant but after a few minutes he warmed up to the water and his float. Here are some pictures of the little ham in his raft.

July 4th Weekend

This past weekend we headed up to New Jersey for the annual July 4th celebration! We had a great time at the lake with all the family.

Henry took 1st place in his division in the Dudah parade. He beat a girl and yes we were all okay with that. We didn't get to see any fireworks this year but hopefully next year.

On Sunday Charlie and I headed out to the new Yankee stadium. We had a great time and Henry enjoyed his day with his cousins. We told him that next year he can go to a Yankee game.

Here are some pictures.
