Sweet Potatoes

Here are some pictures of Henry having solids for the first time. He didn't seem to mind the sweet potatoes once we got started. I will post a video a little later.

Four Month Appointment

So we went to our four month appointment this morning. H is gaining weight but not at a very fast pace. He weighed in at 12 pounds 5 ounces. The good thing is he is 25 inches long!! The doctor was not concerned about his weight because he was gaining. He did give us the go ahead to start solids. So at dinner tonight we are going to try a veggie.......

In other exciting news...Henry rolled over this morning! I put him down for some tummy time and he rolled onto his back. He did it twice - we were clapping and cheering him on. I tried to get it on video but he was a no go.....I will try later.

Tomorrow is mine and Charlie's three year anniversary! Nana and Grandf are coming in town and we are headed out to dinner! Hopefully H will be an angel.

Oooopppps....

Henry is 16 weeks!!! What a great mom I am!

15 Weeks

Henry is 15 weeks today!!! Holy cow does the time fly. You really can see the changes in him. He is a cooing and laughing machine now! He will smile when you walk in the room and he even tends to giggle when his dad walks in.

We have his big four month appointment next Thursday. I can't wait to see how much he weighs and how long he is. He will also be getting his shots.

This Saturday we have our big playdate over at Lulu's house in Maryland. Henry and I are both looking forward to it. I am sure we will have a ton of pictures to post when we get back.

We are Back!

So I know that it has been awhile since I posted but we have been really busy.

After that playdate Henry's reflux got really bad and we had to go back to the doctor. Usually when we go to the doctor he is being his good self but this time he really showed the doctor what we have been dealing with at home. He was in total pain and was screaming the whole appointment. The doctor took him off zantac and he put him on prevacid. The prevacid seems to be working so much better and he is not in the pain that he once was.
Later that week we headed up to New Jersey for my friend Andrea's wedding. Henry was in good hands with his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dave while we partied at the wedding. He had a lot of fun with the cousins that weekend.
On Sunday we got up and headed home because the next day we left for Murrells Inlet...it was time to take Nana back home to Grandf. Monday morning we packed up, kissed Daddy good bye and headed South. Henry did great the whole trip. Him and his Nana had a great time in the back of the car.
We had a great week in South Carolina. Wednesday we had lunch with Aunt Wendy.......he was not a gem but that happens. His Grandma came up from Florida on Friday and then on Saturday we headed to one of my favorite places...Charleston. Henry got to meet his Uncle Scott and his Uncle AJ. He also got to meet Great Aunt Eileen and Great Uncle Myke. We went to lunch at this rooftop restaurant and Henry slept the whole time. It was really nice to eat a meal at a restaurant sitting down!
Sunday was Easter and we got all dressed up and headed to church. After church Grandf had an egg hunt for everyone. We had a lot of fun and found all our eggs but one....maybe we will find it next year! That night Aunt Robyn came over to meet him and she even held him!!!
Finally that brings us to today...where we had to say good bye to Nana and Grandf and drive home. The trip went quickly and Henry slept the afternoon away.
It is nice to be back home but we will miss hanging out with eveyone. Good news is that we will see my whole family again in two weeks for Jeff's Holy Communion.
Here are some pictures from the week in SC....
