Is There a Full Moon?

I thought the full moon was last week because Henry was not sleeping but maybe it is this week instead.

Lately Henry has been giving us a hard time with bedtime and sleeping. He used to go to bed at 6:30pm and sleep until 6:30am. Now we are going to bed at 7:30pm  (when we start) and getting up around 7:00am. While that sounds great, it is not that simple.

Charlie will do bath and put his jammies on like always. Then the boys come back downstairs we watch a little Wheel of Fortune and then it is time to go up. Henry is fine going up, he even says "Night Night" when he is ready. I take him up we read and then it starts.....I used to be able to put him in the crib and walk out, now I can't even get him to lay down and by the time I am at the door he is crying. We have learned we just have to keep going and not look back, because we made that mistake before. After I walk out he will cry for a good ten minutes and then get quiet. You think he is sleeping then BAM - he screams or will cry again. I know there is nothing wrong with him so we sit and wait it out. Last night he finally went to sleep at 8:30pm.

Around 2am I hear I cry, then at 3am I hear another cry then at 4am he is really crying so I finally go in. He is just standing there, I take him out and see if he will lay on the floor with me. He tried, but like I have mentioned before, he sleeps like his father so his legs are everywhere. Finally, at 5am I give up - go downstairs, put Elmo on and start the day.

I know kids like to keep you guessing and I am okay with that but sometimes I really want to know what causes all this interruption in my usually good sleeping child. Is it that he is learning something new (probably talking)? Is it that I am putting him to bed too late? Is he having night terrors or is it just a Full Moon?
