And So It Begins

Today is the day - the house is on the market! The men came this morning and put up the sign. It is a little surreal to see the sign in your own front yard.

We have an Open House this Sunday and are hoping there is some traffic. It is very nerve wracking to think what people will say about your house but also a little exciting too.

Sunday during the Open House we are headed out to the new house to pick out fixtures and cabinets. Henry will be spending the afternoon with Miss Melissa and Miss Katy while we go out there.

As for HGTV, we did not get on the show. I talked to the producer on Wednesday and he told us the bad news. Apparently, they already had a story that was too similar to ours. Oh well, it was still a fun process and we will always have the story to tell.

Henry is doing pretty good. Although last night he just didn't feel like sleeping. He went down around 7:30pm - but was crying until 8:15pm. Charlie took him downstairs to watch the Yankees game. Charlie was trying to get him to say Yankee but Henry was not participating. We put him back up and he was still crying. Charlie ended up sleeping on the floor until 10:30pm. Then at 3am, he decided he wanted out, so I brought him into our bed. Well that was a disaster! Just like his father, he could not get comfortable and was all over the place. At one point he crawled over Charlie so he could play with the phone. Finally around 4am, we went back into his room where I proceeded to sleep on the floor. Henry still was not sleeping. At 5am, I took him out and laid him next to me on the ground and FINALLY he fell asleep.

Maybe he was excited about the house going on the market!?!?!?!? The Nardiello Family: And So It Begins
