Last night I was syncing my iPhone and I noticed that I had all this space being taken up by an "other" category. It's a no wonder I can't take pictures, with how much space it was taking up. So, of course I googled and apparently it's a mystery of what this "other" category is. I did read that if you restore your phone it sometimes, will clear it or make it less.
So, I went to restore my phone, because well I need to be able to take pictures. Oh I restored my phone alright, all the way back to July 2011. I must have hit the wrong back up or something. It was freaky to see text messages from back then, but the cool part, the pictures and videos I had not seen in forever. Videos of Henry, signs of the Ellie dog, bump pictures from being pregnant with Mary, it was like I went back in time and I was stuck.
While it was fun seeing all those pictures and videos, I needed to be back in 2013. I was actually breaking a sweat last night in hopes that I could return my phone.
So, this morning, I went and restored my phone again and it came back to 8:58pm last night, phew. Of course that "other" category is still eating up a ton of space on my phone, but I'm happy to be back and I will deal with the "other" later.
