Family Room Redo

We moved into the house two years ago, I can't believe it has already been two years. We have done a lot of decorating in those two years, but  I never felt the family room was complete. So, I was on a mission to have it complete before Mary's party next Saturday.

Off to HomeGoods, Kirklands and World Market, I went. I was looking for framed pictures to hang on the walls and maybe an end table and a lamp. I was surprised that it didn't take me long to find all the things that I needed to make the room compete. Five pictures, a metal framed piece, an end table and a new lamp later we came home and started moving the room around. After we were happy with the furniture, we started the assembly and the hanging of the pictures. Once that was done, we looked over the room and decided to bring the chair from our bedroom down to complete the look. Oddly, enough that chair was bought for the room two years ago but never quite fit.

So, here are the before pictures....

There was a painting over the big couch (picture 1) but we took that down and put it over our bed. It's kind of fun moving furniture from one room to another.

Now, here are the after....

I'm in love. It feels homey, it feels pottery barnish and it finally feels complete. The Nardiello Family: Family Room Redo
