Tailgating

This past weekend we packed up the car and headed back to college with Henry. We left early Friday morning and got to Columbia around 2pm. He was great in the car. When we got there my mom was already there. We hung out for a little bit and then we hit up Happy Hour in the Vista.

After some dinner, Henry and Nana called it night and headed home. The rest of us continued on until early the next morning. It was great seeing some friends that we have not seen in awihle.

Saturday morning we were up and ready for some tailgating. Too bad the weather was not cooperating. The weatherman said by 2pm the sun would come out and I kid you not, it did. They must pay that weatherman a lot of money to actually get it right.

At 2pm we headed over to the tailgate to see all our friends. Tailgating sure has changed since we were in college. I can guarantee we never had pack and plays and baby wagons in college or babies for that matter. Even though all those things were different we still had a great time.
After tailigating Henry headed home with Nana again. The game was not until 7pm so it was a little late to take him in and it was getting cold. The gamecocks did win the game, but it wasn't pretty.

Sunday morning was a rough one but everyone got up and headed home. We made a little stop on our way and took some pictures in the horseshoe.
While the drive home was long and tiring we know we will be doing it again next year!
