Last weekend all our family was here to celebrate Henry's baptism. He was the perfect gem when he was getting baptised - he slept through the whole thing and dindn't even scream when they poured the water over him. After church we headed to dinner at Clyde's. His Aunt Nadine (aka Godmother) bought him a beautiful cake for dessert.
We did miss his Aunt Kathy, Emily and Jack. They were unable to travel down due to the stomach virus. Hopefully we will them soon!
After everyone left and things calmed down - we noticed that Mr. Henry was doing a lot more spewing of his formula than he normally does. He was screaming when he was eating and he was screaming when he wasn't eating. I took him to the doctor on Thursday and he was diagnosed with Acid reflux. The doc put him on Zantac and a special formula. We thought they were working but he is still spewing all over the place - some feedings are better than others. We play every day by ear. He is still sleeping great at night which is good bc during the day naps are few and far between.
Also, since the last post, Henry turned 2 months old!! It is very hard to believe that it has already been 8 weeks. I hope the next 8 weeks get better for the little guy. We just want him to be the happy comfortable baby again.
On Tuesday we are headed back to the doctor for his two month shots!!!! Tuesday night should be interesting -acid refux and shots - what a combination.
Here are just of his new facial expressions....
